When I grow up….(in a year?!) I want to be a teacher. I have wanted to be a teacher since I was 4 years old. I started this blog as part of an education class on Literacy. I am a junior in college. I will graduate next spring with a B.S. in Psychology, and then a year later with a M.S. in Elementary Education.
I love my family. I don’t know what I would do without them. I love my friends. I love being outdoors, and adventures. I love the smells of sunscreen and baby shampoo.
Good luck with teaching. I found it to be amazing and horrifying…it was quite the ride. I found a better fit in being an advocate for children without working directly with them. But I want to say that I love your love for kids. We need more teachers who passionately care for kids.
